Visitor management
A first-time visitor shouldn't need to fill in a paper card that sits in a basket until Thursday. FaithDash gives every church a QR code to print and put at the entrance. A visitor scans it with their phone camera, fills in a short web form, and is saved straight to your database as a visitor. They don't have to download an app.
Once they're saved, a visitor follow-up sequence can send them a welcome text the same day, with more messages on the days after.
Member database
- One record per person, with status (visitor, member and so on), tags, phone number, and optional biodata such as address, occupation and marital status.
- Tags for any group you care about: Choir, Youth, Ushers, Cell group 4, Building committee. A person can carry several tags.
- Bulk add by phone number: paste up to 1,000 numbers at once. Duplicates and invalid numbers are flagged before anything is saved.
- Export the filtered list to PDF or Excel for printing or for the parish office.
Attendance tracking
Check members in for a Sunday service, a midweek fellowship, a youth camp or any other event. Search by name, or check in several people at once. Attendance analytics show who is coming, who has drifted, and how each service compares.
FaithDash can be installed to a phone's home screen. Check-ins made while the phone is offline are queued on the device and sync automatically when the connection comes back, so a load-shedding Sunday doesn't lose the register.
Events
Create one-off events or recurring events (weekly services, monthly prayer nights), and set the times for each. Events feed attendance, event reminders and attendee follow-ups.
Targeted SMS
Send from the Messages page to a segment that already exists in your data:
- All members
- Visitors only
- Members only
- Leaders only
- Any custom tag, such as Choir, Youth or Ushers
There's no exporting to a spreadsheet and no CSV upload to a separate portal. The recipient list is your live member database.
While you type, the composer shows the character count, the encoding (GSM-7 or Unicode), the number of SMS parts, and the total cost for the group you picked, all before you press send. Large sends run as a background job with a live "X of Y processed" readout and a sent / partial / failed report at the end. Every message goes into a searchable message history with its recipient count, parts, status and cost.
Automation
Set these rules up once in a form. No code is needed.
- Visitor follow-ups: a sequence of messages sent a set number of days after someone registers as a visitor, at the time of day you choose.
- Event reminders: sent a set number of days or hours before an event starts.
- Attendee follow-ups: sent to people who attended an event, a set number of days after it ends.
Event reminders go to your members and leaders, and you can switch a reminder off or reword it for a single event.
Messages can use merge fields such as {{name}}, {{church}}, {{event_name}}, {{event_date}}, {{event_time}} and {{event_location}}. Each rule can be switched on or off.
Team access
The church owner can invite other people to the church's team and choose what each person can do, area by area:
- Members: add, edit, delete
- Attendance: check in, view analytics
- Events: create, edit, delete
- Messages: send
That means ushers can check people in without being able to text the whole church, and a secretary can manage records without touching billing.
Billing
FaithDash is free to use. You only pay for the SMS you send: UGX 35 per SMS part, taken from a prepaid church balance that you top up by mobile money. Low-balance warnings show how many more SMS the balance covers, and a one-click top-up sits right beside them. Every church gets 100 free test SMS once it verifies its contact phone number. See pricing for worked examples.
Multi-church
Run several congregations or campuses from one login. Each church keeps its own members, balance and currency.
Frequently asked questions
Is FaithDash a mobile app or a website?
It's a web app that works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. It can also be installed to a phone's home screen like an app, with no app-store download.
Can I import my existing member list?
Yes. You can add members one by one with full details, or paste up to 1,000 phone numbers at once and tag them as you go. FaithDash flags duplicates and invalid numbers before saving.
Can different people in the church have different access?
Yes. The owner invites team members and sets permissions separately for members, attendance, events and messaging. For example, ushers can check people in without being able to send messages.
